Sha'Nya Lashae Coleman-Young

Sha'Nya LaShae Coleman~Young was born on October 28, 2002, in Saginaw, Michigan to MarChelle Young and Barry Coleman and passed into eternity on August 25, 2021. Sha'Nya was born into Word of Faith International Ministries where she accepted Christ, was baptized and taught in the Children's Ministry Department.

Sha'Nya's involvement in the community included volunteering with her grandmother at Partial to Girls. Sha'Nya began her education in Saginaw Public Schools and was scheduled to graduate from Jackson Public School's class of 2022. Sha'Nya was currently employed at McDonalds. Throughout her life, Sha'Nya enjoyed family time that included playing games, shopping and spending time with her cousins and the little ones. Sha' Nya was the eldest of ten grandchildren to both grandmothers. Her quick wit, charm, brilliance and humor earned her the admiration and respect of her cousins, young and old. Sha'Nya enjoyed playing basketball, producing and performing original music. She was our Indy 500 chauffer and loved cooking while listening to music and dancing with her mother.

Sha' Nya was a talented performer whose Music and YouTube videos attracted over 25,000 plus views and still counting.
Sha'Nya composed over thirty-one original songs and spent an enormous amount of time in the studio perfecting her music that exhibited a mature and polished sound well beyond her years. Not only did she hone her musical craft, but she also developed a business acumen for the music industry and created her own label, "Y ounginn, Inc." and her brand, "Young Finesser." Sha'Nya used her special giftings in visual and graphic artist to custom design T-shirts, create her very own logo and items to market her label and brand. Sha'Nya was extremely loyal to her YF fan base and was loved immensely by her family. Her presence and uniqueness will be cherished and forever missed.

Sha'Nya is survived by her parents MarChelle Young and Barry Coleman; grandparents Daveda Quinn, Robin Young Sr., Janice (Pete) Cannon and Barry Coleman and Cedric Clayton Sr.; great-grandparents Lula McClendon, Rochelle (Fred) Gilmer; Brother Jordan Hannibal Coleman; Aunts Quinnesha and Shaneka Cannon, Journey DeGraffenried; Rochelle Hill, Regina Phillips, Pamela Jones, Brenda Cameron, Jacqueline (Clifford) Carter, Desiree (Thurman) Perkins, Tracye Webber, Sharon, Catania, and Tiffany Quinn; Uncles Cedric and Michael Clayton, Terrance Dennis, Robin and Colby Young, Silas DeGraffenried, Edlenton Cameron Jr., Perry (Mardwena) Cameron and Terrell (Stephanie) Cameron; David (Tiffany) Quinn, Deandre Minniefield, Hugh Quinn Jr. four godchildren, three god-sisters and godfather Mr. Oladehinde Jibowu. Special cousins Jay Love and Jo 'Vonte Buckner-Jones and special friends Trinity, laden, Mello and many other loved ones.

She was proceeded in death by Great-great grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Coleman, and Mr. & Mrs. Hill; Great-grand Fathers Edlenton Cameron Sr. and Hugh Quinn Sr., Uncle Reginald Cameron, Aunt Evon Cameron, special cousin Dre'Landon Brown, best friends Cordell and Tavi and godmother Mrs. Jibowu.
