Shardae Tremese Davenport

October 15, 1986 — April 3, 2022

Shardae Tremese Davenport “Shardy-Lo” passed away suddenly Sunday, April 3, 2022. Age 35 years. She was born October 15, 1986, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Joanne Davenport and Victor Baker.


Shardae was a graduate of Carrollton High School Class of 2008. She was employed as a caregiver at Bethesda Lutheran Homes & Services in Frankenmuth, Michigan. She accepted Christ at an early age at Galilee Baptist Church under her the leadership of Pastor Luciose Lewis.


Shardae enjoyed dancing, spoiling her nieces and nephews, dressing in the latest fashions, and most of all, she loved her family. She was known for her infectious smile, gentle spirit, and for loving children. To know Shardae was to love her.


She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Joanne Davenport, and Victor Baker; four sisters, Cherrell Thompson, Jasmine Holmes, Rhodelia Turner, and Temeka Turner; five brothers, Tremell Davenport, Andre Miller, Daquan Amos, Victor Baker Jr., and Naperion Riley; grandparents, JC and Dolores Davenport;  great-grandfather, Eddie Williams, twenty-five aunts and uncles, Rachel, Carolyn and Anthony Baker, Michelle (Ronald) Mays, Regina (Larry) Lucas, Derrick and Steven Williams, Ricky Thomas, Mary Sears, Delbert White, Mark Barnes, Nicole, Shaniqua, Jacob, Janine, Patrise, and Jayla Davenport, Miesha, Brittany and Brianna Scott, Latoya (Roosevelt) Montgomery, Doris (Sheldon) Matthews, Deandra (Rubell) Shine, Tangela (James) Williams, and Bernita (Henry) Alexander; twenty-five nieces and nephews whom Shardae especially loved; special friends, Quanterria and Paris Darby, and godson, Jacob Davenport III; close friends and family; Tiffanie Evans, Joseph Conway, Tekeyia Wallace, Erwin Campbell, Brianna McAfee; the Turner, Thomas, Holmes, Williams, Baker, Webb, and Evans families; many more family and friends.


Shardae was preceded in death by her brother, Deshawn Amos, grandparents, Louis Thomas, and Beatrice Williams; uncles, Michael, Louis, and Anthony Thomas; great-uncle, Roy E. Turner; aunt, Debra Thomas; and special cousins, Zebedee Love III, Japeriay Quarles, Stacy, and Jovan Evans.
