Sharina Sharnea Gartley

Ms. Sharina Sharnea Gartley went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 34 years. She passed away at Michigan Medicine - University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sharina was born on June 8, 1986 in Saginaw, Michigan to Kimberly Gartley and Larry Lockett.

Sharina was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Webber Middle School and was a student at Saginaw High School, “Class of 2004.” She lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for five years. Sharina was a very caring, goofy, and outspoken person, and was known best for her talent of braiding hair. She beat cancer in 2008. Sharina will be missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.

She leaves to cherish loving memories two daughters, Keniya and Key Ari Gartley; one son, Key’Shun Gartley; one sister, Tamina Gartley; one brother Antoine Jakes, Jr., grandfather, Harvey Gartley, Sr.; special niece and nephew, Zamariyae and Zaishaun Gartley; aunts and uncles, Debra Gartley, Donald Sr. (Shontele) Lockett, Fredrick Sr. (Tangela) Lockett, Faye Lockett, Debra Lockett, Harvey Gartley, Jr., Eddie Smith and Joseph Lockett,Jr.; godmother, Evett Wiley; many cousins, other relatives and friends including best friend, Shannon Davis and special friend, Dominique Grice.

Sharina was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Augustine Gartley, Vera Mae Lockett, and grandfather, Joseph Lockett, Sr.
