Ms. Sharon E. Parker was born September 12, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan to L.V. Parker and Embress Carolyn North. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to glory on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
Sharon, lovingly called “Sheri”, was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She had a heart of gold and was always giving and helping those in need. She would give you the shirt off her back and her last dollar. She volunteered with many local organizations but did most of her giving in her own community. Known as Grandma Sheri in the neighborhood, her doors were always open to family and friends in need.
Sheri was a woman full of life. She loved cooking, music, dancing, shopping, playing cards and being stylish. The woman could dress! She was known for her special crab salad and eating crab legs and lobster tails with her great-granddaughter, Pumkin. We are truly going to miss her but we will forever carry her memory in our hearts. Fly high and watch over us all.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, L.V. Parker and Embress North; brother, Michael North; sister, Carolyn North; nephew, Charles “Chuckie” Robinson.
She leaves precious memories with her four children, Franklin Lamont Parker, Stephon Pickett, Tiara (Timothy Sr.) Baskin, Kenya Parker; grandchildren, Meyara Parker, Franklin Parker, Jr., Timothy Baskin, Jr., Kaliah Parker, DeCorrion Hines, Jion Parker, Keoni Daniels; one brother, Charles North; six nieces, Kimberly Berry, Sophina McKnight, Carla Robinson, Diara, Davida, Da’Keia Stevenson; one nephew, Davario Stevenson; many cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Janice West, Ericka Newman, Patricia White, Joyce Youngblood, Shelia Stintson, Tammy Vickers, Koya Harvey, Jodi Barrera., Glenda Mathis and LaShon Jones.
The family would like to express special thanks to Ebony Randolph, Select Staffing, Ericka Newman, Timiya Johnson, Katia White, Janerio White, Lamott Simpson, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
