Shaveon Damond Irwin was born in Saginaw, MI and departed this life on May 14, 2021. He entered this life on December 17, 1995 to loving parents Shirley Nelson and Shay Irwin.
He was educated in the Saginaw Public Schools system and attended Saginaw High School. He later moved to Savannah, Georgia with his aunt, Chianti Irwin, and he graduated in 2018 from Robert W. Groves High School. With an infectious smile and kind spirit, Shaveon brought great joy to his family and all who was blessed to be in his presence.
Shaveon was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Nelson; grandmother, Cathy Irwin; and great-grandmother, Celestine Roberson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Shay Irwin; brother, Patrick Nelson, Patrick Calbert; sister, Patrice Calbert; grandparents, Sterling and Patricia Nelson, George Irwin, Jessie Parham; aunts, Emily Nelson, Jackie Nelson, Nikenya Nelson, Jamie Parham, and Chianti Irwin; uncles, Khieno Nelson, Sterling Bird Nelson, Sterling Nelson, Deedric Irwin, Craig Irwin and Quame Irwing; many nieces, nephews and beloved cousins.
