Sheena Leigh Erin Coleman

Sheena Leigh-Erin Coleman was born on September 18, 1986 to Melvin and Kimberly Coleman in Saginaw, Michigan.

Sheena graduated from East Lansing High School, Class of 2004. Her motivation to influence others for greatness led her to complete her undergraduate degree in Communication and Advertising at Central Michigan University in 2009. In 2010, Sheena ventured to augment her skill sets by successfully completing a certification program in advertising design at the Art Institute of Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. Her pursuit of knowledge, again, led her to complete her Master of Science degree in Science Administration: HR at Central Michigan University in 2018.

As one who took pride in both the inner and outer beauty of humanity, Sheena pursued interests in cosmetology, which culminated in receiving certifications both as a cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor. It was cosmetology that ultimately led Sheena to Atlanta, Georgia, as a Regional Educator at L’Oréal Professionnel.

Sheena came to know the Lord at an early age and is remembered as one who valued her family and loved ones, above all else. Her energy and essence exuded joy and vivaciousness. It is a fact Sheena could turn any frown upside down, on any day. Her exuberant smile and contagious laugh captured the hearts of many. Her quick wit, animated and caring spirit left a lasting impression on everyone with whom she encountered. She was wise beyond her years, and often sought out as a confidant for her intellect and presentational abilities.

There was an energy about her that was inspiriting to all. She enjoyed cooking and perfecting her craft in the beauty industry. Her other interests included reading, traveling, shopping and listening to personal development and Christian podcasts.

To cherish her life and legacy, Sheena leaves behind her loving father and mother, Melvin and Kimberly Coleman; her adoring and protective brother, Marqus C. Sr. (Liz) Coleman, Sr.; two nephews, Marqus C. Coleman II and Jackson O. Coleman; grandmother, Rosie Chandler; grandfather, Percy Coleman, Jr.; uncles, Malvin, Calvin, Brandon (Aisha) Coleman, Chester Coleman and James Henry Young; aunts, Gwendolyn Bowman, Carolyn (Tommy) Cauthen, Karen Hill and Brenda Taylor; godparents, Alice Windmon and Nathaniel Banks; many family members, friends and loved ones who brought joy to her life.
