Shelley Denise ONeal passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at St. Marys Of Michigan Medical Center. Age 51 years. She was born May 30, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan to Bernice ONeal.
Shelley was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Saginaw High School class of 1979. After graduation she went on to further her education by attending Wilberforce University majoring in Business. Shelley was employed at the Wolverine Secure Treatment Center. She was a faithful member of Bethel AME Church under the leadership of Pastor P. David Saunders. Shelley enjoyed reading, movies, sports, physical fitness training and cooking. She loved decorating her home, athletic events, wine collecting and church activities. Shelley was a self-less, caring, sincere and strong-willed woman. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Quenton ONeal; her mother, Bernice ONeal; three sisters, Gladys (Reginald) Carter, Wendy ONeal and Valeski ONeal; three brothers, Arthur (Linda), Richardo and Alfred (Debbie) ONeal; one aunt, Helen Johnson; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Ms. Gena R. Amos, childhood friends, Gary and Marchetta Watson, special niece, Shontell ONeal.
