Sherry Lynn Haulcy

Sherry Lynn Haulcy passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Age 52 years. She was born February 22, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan to Cleo and Reasie Mae Haulcy.
Sherry graduated from Saginaw High School and was striving to obtain her bachelors degree. She was employed by Waste Management as a supervisor for several years. She enjoyed dancing, drawing, bowling, playing games, wrestling and facebooking. Some of her favorite pastimes were going fishing, casino trips, shopping, eating, skating, watching movies and taking care of her grandchildren. Sherry loved cracking jokes and playing tricks on her sisters and brothers. She also enjoyed rapping, making her kids happy, taking professional pictures, singing and spending time with her family. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life, Dennis Bentley; one daughter, DennekQuah Haulcy (Diamond); two sons, Cordairo and Armondre Bentley; one stepson, James Shelton; grandchildren, Shaniyah Peoples, Aniyah Mata-Haulcy, Robert Henry Haulcy, JaZariah Shelton; four sisters, Caroline McBride, Stella (Baa-ith) Samuel, both of Saginaw, Michigan, Ernestine Emohkor of Arlington, Texas, Deborah Green of Camden, Arkansas; three brothers, William Ray (Phyllis) Whittaker, Cleo Haulcy Jr., Sylvester Haulcy, all of Saginaw, Michigan; seven nieces, Katrina, Tonya, Shenniquah, Leatta, Lavon and Lajeanna; eleven nephews, Tyran, Fred, Kyran, Luke, Dennis, Dexter, Byron, Ervin, Marcus, Sylvester Jr., Baa-ith Jr., many other relatives and friends including special friends Georgia Levy, Emma Lawrence, Deloris Roberson, LaCorrie Gaines, Diamond Henry, Terry Banks and godchildren, Datrick and Daylen.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Reasie Mae Haulcy, grandparents, Joseph and Salina Whittaker, niece, Micheala Kenya.
The family would like to express special thanks to the Cage family, the Henry family, the Gaines family and the families of Lula Butler, Sam Williams and Mark Thomas.
