Sherry Seay (Lansing)

Sherry Renae Seay was the baby of twelve children to the proud parents of the late Mr. & Mrs. Sam and Carrie Pearl Seay. She was born on July 4, 1964, in Clifton, Alabama. Sherry accepted Christ into her life at an early age and joined Pine Grove Baptist Church, Clifton, Alabama. She attended Pine Hill High School and later moved to Mobile, Alabama to raise her only child, Corey J. Seay Sr.

Sherry moved to Lansing, Michigan four years ago to get closer to her son, Corey and other family members.

Sherry was excited about her upcoming trip to return to her earthly home in Lansing, Michigan. However, God had other plans and called her to her heavenly home on January 17, 2020 while visiting her son in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sherry is now reunited with her parents; Sam and Carrie Pearl Seay; brothers: Joseph Lee Seay and Samuel V. Seay, and sisters: Rosie Seay January, Earnestine Seay, Marjorie Seay and Rebecca Strayhorn.

Sherry leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son: Corey J. Seay Sr.; Grandchildren: Corey J. Seay Jr. (CJ), Siah McGrew, and Samarah Seay (Baby); Sisters: Dorothye (Charlie) Turman III, Sarah Seay, Ola Jackson, Lydia Thompson; Brothers: James Seay and Gary (Sharon) Seay.
