Mrs. Shirley Ann Buck was called home to the loving arms of her beloved husband, Sonny, her parents, grandparents, sisters, and brothers, on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at her home in Little Elm, Texas. Age 86 years. Shirley was born September 11, 1936, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Anton and Bay Eujean Shavrnoch.

Shirley married the love of her life, David J. “Sonny” Buck, Jr., on October 21, 1953.

She was employed at St. Luke’s Hospital and the Veteran’s Hospital. Shirley loved watching TV movies and game shows, reading the newest James Patterson novel, and going to the spa for a day of beauty. Shirley also enjoyed shopping, walking and talking to her neighbors, talking on the phone, and taking trips with Janice and Robert. Shirley dearly loved her family. She loved spending time with Leu and Monique.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Janice R. (Robert) Ford, Little Elm, Texas, Karen M. Buck, Colorado, Sheila A. Wilson, Indiana, Laura J. (John) Mackey, Saginaw, Michigan; two sons, David Jr. (Pauline) Buck, Columbus, Ohio, R. Wes (Dorcas) Buck, Flint, Michigan; her beloved sons-in-law, Robert Ford and John Mackey; twenty-seven, grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Barbara Hurry, Mary Ann Ostland, Sandra Almy, Judy Walker, and Jeanann Walton; four brothers, Michael, Robert, Donald, and James Shavrnoch; many nieces and nephews; much-loved mother and father-in-law, David J. Sr. “Big Sonny” (Mary) Buck; seven sisters-in-law, Gayle Johnson, Thelma Buck, Gwen Buck, Mildred Pratt, Laura Shavrnoch, Donna Shavrnoch, and Rose Shavrnoch; one brother-in law, Roy Walton; a host of other relatives and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Bay Eujean Shavrnoch; grandparents, Stanley Adams, and Goldie Peru, Joseph and Helen Shavrnoch; two sisters, Donna Marie Shavrnoch and June Marie Butterfield; three brothers, David, Paul, and Tony Shavrnoch.
