Shirley Brisboe (Lansing)

Shirley Marie Brisboe passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 62 years. She was born June 22, 1955 to Stanley and Margaret Duchnowski in Lansing, Michigan.

Shirley lived in Holt, Michigan with her husband of 45 years, David. For the past ten years, she worked for Quality Cleaning Services. Shirley graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1974 where she was also a member of the National Honor Society. She was very generous, kindhearted and loving wife, mother, aunt, cousin and friend. Her hobbies included gardening, watching the University of Michigan football and basketball teams and cooking for family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, David L. Brisboe; daughter, Stacie (Nate) Winans; niece, Gerri Pfeifer; nephews, Joshua and Justin Ruiz; great-niece, Julia Ruiz; cousins including Lora (Mike) Bradley, Mary Wright, Carolyn (Bill) Ide, Dennis (Anne) Campbell, Tom (wife) Campbell, Dick Campbell, Sharon Campbell, Carrie (Tim) Currin along with other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jason Brisboe who died August 8, 2004.

The Brisboe Family would like to express special thanks to Sparrow Hospital’s nursing staff and to the many family and friends who loved Shirley and came to visit in our time of need.
