Shlindrill Bonita Lewis

Mrs. Shlindrill Bonita Lewis entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Age 54 years. She was born September 20, 1963 in Mobile, Alabama to Charles and Emma Walton.

Shlindrill attended Saginaw Public Schools graduating from Arthur Hill High School in 1981. She was a member of New Generation Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor Mary Allen. Shlindrill attended Ross Medical School and soon became employed at Brookdale Senior Living. She truly loved working, being around her grandchildren and shopping at Walmart. Shlindrill enjoyed life to the fullest. She met the love of her life, Donald, over 30 years ago. Shlindrill loved the Lord, was saved, baptized, and filled with the Holy Ghost. Her favorite quote was, “God knows everything!”

Shlindrill leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Donald Lewis, Saginaw, Michigan; four daughters, LaKeva Walton, ShaKari Lewis, Alexia Lewis, and Dominique Lewis; one son, Donald Lewis, III; two step-children, Tierra Wright and Thomas Williams; twenty-five grandchildren; three sisters, Kristian Walton, Saginaw, Michigan, Dionne (Walter) Thomas, Lorain, Ohio, Vynce (Vincient) Thomas, Long Beach, California; four brothers, Bobbie Wilson, Charles Walton, Jr., Daryle (Tinita) Walton, and Tavonie (Ylonda) Walton, all of Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews and cousins; three aunts, Juanita Smith, Linda Smith, and Brenda Smith; two uncles, Gabrial Smith and David Smith, all of Mobile, Alabama; five sisters-in-law, Emma Lewis, Mary Lewis, Nicole Lewis, Mae Lewis and Pastor Mary Allen; five brothers-in-law, Jessie Lewis, Allen Lewis, James Brooks, Ed (Darlene) Lewis, Danny Lewis; many other relatives and friends.

Shlindrill was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma Walton, grandparents, Seldon and Elmira Smith; stepson, Michael Roby; mother and father-in-law, Jessie and Classie Lewis.
