Shombrieka Ambriel Williams was born Saturday, April 29, 1989, to Byron Williams, and Connie Huff-Williams, in Bremerhaven, Germany. Shombrieka went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 20, 2025. Age 35 years old.
Shombrieka accepted the Lord when she was young, joining Galilee Baptist Church, where she was baptized and served. Shombrieka had a love for the choir, ministering through the Mime Dance Ministry, and helping spearhead a well-loved Puppet Ministry. She flourished in every area in the Ministry.
Shombrieka graduated from Waverly School District where she built lifetime friendships, played basketball, and had an outstanding Track and Field Career. While attending Waverly, Shombrieka also attended the Wilson Talent Center in Mason, MI, where she honed in her love and craft for styling hair while earning her Cosmetology License.
Shombrieka loved to laugh and make others laugh. Her smile and laughter would light up the room. Shombrieka was a kind soul, who always tried to help others. Shombrieka had a true love for people. She was employed at Gibson’s bookstore and Bean Café until accepting a position at the State of Michigan, Children’s Special Health Care Servies as a Family Phone Line Representative. She later received a promotion to a Parent Consultant, where her true love for people and passion for serving those in need really shined; helping those who have children and youth with special health care needs find resources to assist them through their journey.
Shombrieka will always be remembered for her infectious smile and her ability to make all around her laugh until tears flowed, also for her kind heart and loyalty to those she held near and dear.
Shombrieka leaves to cherish her loving memory, two sons, De’Vonte and Ayden Greer; parents, Connie Huff-Williams, Byron and Angela Williams; five sisters, Tasheka (Mark) Struhar, Tricina (Roy) Burton, Marshique Williams, Breona (Jonathan) Clark, Niesha Williams; nine brothers, Byron Williams Jr, Brandon Williams, Markus (Eriona) Williams, Marqueston (Sherell) Huff, Jaylyn Williams, Karon Sheard, Anthony Williams, Dezman Williams, Naquan Williams. Twenty-two nieces and nephews, one great-nephew. Two special aunts, Sandra Gill and Danita Miles that cared for her dearly in her time of illness. Her best friend Nikayla Morgan-Dabney; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Artis Huff, Euna Mae Huff, Dixie Mack Williams, Norma Dean Williams, and Jewel Gill; and sister, Shasheka Williams.
