Mr. Sim Terry passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 64 years. He was born October 30, 1945 in West Point, Mississippi to Thomas Terry Jr. and Georgia Ann Wright.
He was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses June 9, 2001 and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses-East. He was employed with General Motors (Malleable Iron) for 43 years until his retirement in 2007 and a member of UAW Local 455. He enjoyed being in the field ministry, talking to people, grilling outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
Sim is survived by his wife, Curtisstine Terry; a daughter Sheila Terry-Lyons; a son, Marcus (Sonya) Terry; grandchildren, Andrew (Shonell) Terry, Krista Terry; a beloved great-grandsons, Cameron Terry, Jayden Terry, Xavier Montgomery of all Kentwood, MI; three loving sisters, Eliza Matthew, Saginaw, MI, Leavator Terry, West Point, MS, Annie B. Moore, Roland, AK; one brother, Nelson (Pearline) Terry, Saginaw, MI, many other relatives and friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to Bennie Bailey, Ruby Bailey, Josie Couch, Michael Phillips, Janie Mack, Cassandra Taylor, special nieces and nephews and Covenant Healthcare-Cooper.
Sim was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Terry Jr. and Georgia Ann Wright; sisters and brothers, Martha, Mary, Arthur, Claudia, Tom, Surhaver and Walter Terry.
