Simeon Amin Berry

Mr. Simeon Amin Berry passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 28 years. He was born on March 15, 1996, in Bay City, Michigan, to Kwame A. Mathews and Sherunda Berry.

Simeon accepted Jesus Christ at an early age while attending Bethel AME Church in Saginaw, Michigan. He was baptized and loved Sunday School. Simeon was a graduate of Garber High School in Essexville, Michigan.

Simeon loved his family and friends. He was the father of four children: Amariana Berry, LaRae Berry, Shania Berry, and Sim’Mir Mathews. Simeon was an extraordinary person with a magnetic smile that will shine on forever. 

God gifted Simeon with many talents. Starting at the age of four he was excellent at basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. Later in life, Simeon became a music composer, which he did until his passing.

Meredith; grandparents, James E. Berry, and Katherine (Charles) Cork; special godmother, Vichelle Breedlove; godfather, James T. Berry; godsister, Tayonna Jenkins; aunts, uncles, and cousins; many other relatives and friends.;

Simeon was preceded in death by his brothers, Kwame Arkillies Mathews, Cam'Ron Antonio Mathews, and Taylor Davenport; godbrother, Reginald Griffin; godfather, Xzadrian Hardwick; and special aunt, Pearl Evans.
