Spencer Lee Correia (Lansing)

Mr. Spencer Lee Correia passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 25 years. The son of Maria Correia and Charles D. Maxwell, Jr.; he was born on Tuesday, May 19, 1998, in Orange Park, Florida.

Spencer lived in Lansing, Michigan. He was raised in Green Cove Springs, Florida where he attended Clay High School. Spencer was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was self-employed. Spencer enjoyed times with family and friends. His biggest joy was riding his motorcycle and cars. Spencer also enjoyed fishing. He was known for his loving soul and contagious smile.

He leaves to cherish his mother, Maria Correia; sister, Nichole Correia; grandfather, Jose Correia; 3 nephews, Landen Carter, Logan Carter, and Kaisen Sheldon; two aunts, Fatima Correia and June Downing; two uncles, Mark Grether and Gary Downing; two cousins, Jason Lima and Marc Lima; many other relatives and friends including his girlfriend, Jaide Christy; his best friend, David Vazquez; Godmother, Fatima Chaves, Michael Wilkerson and Ebay, Adrian Zimmerman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles D. Maxwell; grandmother, Connie Correia, and grandparents, Charles & Thelma Maxwell.

The family would like to express special thanks to Corina Salina, his Michigan mom, all of his extended family and friends, as well as his bike community in Lansing, Michigan.
