Stacy D. Sanders

Mr. Stacy D. Sanders passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Age 52 years. He was born August 4, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Willie and Lettie Sanders.

Stacy was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and a graduate of Buena Vista High School. He was employed at General Motors in Lansing, Michigan. Stacy enjoyed fishing, racing, working on cars, laughing, cracking jokes, making wine, watching boxing, listening to music, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memory his girlfriend, LaTorian Woodard; two daughters, Brittiany Sanders, and Shari Sanders; and one son, Torrey D. Sanders, all of Saginaw, Michigan; five grandchildren, Aubriel, Amir, and Ja’Nyrah Sanders, Kamaji Curry, and Ty’Lon Sanders, all of Saginaw, Michigan; his mother, Lettie Hall Sanders; two sisters, Erica Sanders, Saginaw, Michigan, and Darlene (Garrett)Matthews, Eclectic, Alabama; three brothers, Eric Sanders, and Marvin (Jennifer) Sanders, Saginaw, Michigan, and Kenny Sanders, Montgomery, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Richard Walker, Chris Murray, Terril Gillerson, Matthew Rodriguez, Willie Humphrey, and Terrance Williams.

Stacy was preceded in death by his father, Willie James Sanders; grandparents, Thomas (Georgia Mae) Hall; cousins, Andrew Davis, and Edna Davis, and grandson Trevion Curry, Jr.
