Mr. Stacy D. Evans "Stizz" departed this earthly life for his Heavenly home on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 30 years old. He was born July 9, 1984 in Saginaw, Michigan to Velma Evans and Stacy Welch.
Stacy enjoyed playing basketball, football and video games with his children. He was a loving, caring and funny person. Many people enjoyed his company and hanging out with him. Stacy will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kamekia Evans; his children, Staciarra, DeShone and Amarionta Evans; two stepchildren, Amesha Whittington and Antrell Wright; parents, Stacy (Katrina) Welch and Velma (David) Samuels; grandparents, Melvin (Annie) Donald and Flora Welch; four sisters, Anglenetta and Sheena Evans, Sakedria Woods and Ciarra Jackson; four brothers, Jovan and Travon Evans, Koryion and Stacy Welch Jr.; aunts, Bernadette Jones, Barbara and Glenda Evans, Wendy Welch, Debra Miller and Pamela Strong; uncles, Glynn Evans, Melvin, Ricky, Derrick and Jimmie Dale Evans, Mike (Debra) Strong, Timothy and Larry Strong; special cousins, Dequanta Evans and Demario Turner; many other relatives and friends including special friends Zebedee Love, Jamaquis Jones, Otis Haynes OD and Charlie Britton.
Stacy was preceded in death by his son, Stacy D. Evans Jr., grandmother, Velma T. Evans, grandfather, Edward Welch, great-grandparents, Betty Evans, Albert Welch and Ida Welch, one sister, Tanisha Evans, one uncle, James Goines and Allen Fields, one great-aunt, Reathie Harmon, cousins, Tyler Strong, Japeariay Quarles, Jacques Price, Ruby and Christopher Graham.
