Ms. Stacy Lynn Rasco was born July 15, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan to Willie and Betty Rasco. She went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 3, 2018. Age 47 years.
Stacy was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Saginaw High School, “Class of 1989.” She then attended Delta College and graduated with her LPN in Nursing on April 7, 2008.
Stacy worked at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab until May of this year. She worked as a nurse in Tuscaloosa and Eutaw, Alabama. She was also a traveling nurse in Miami, Florida. When she wasn’t working, Stacy enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
Stacy was a caring person and she cared for many through her professions. She was a natural caregiver and was passionate about helping people heal. Nursing was more than a career for Stacy. It was her purpose and she fulfilled her calling, touching the lives of many.
Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Evelyn Rasco, Henry and Pearl Pelt; aunts, Gloria and Fredia Rasco; uncles, Lewis Rasco, Walter and Willie C. Pelt.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Willie and Betty Rasco; her only child, Veronica Gaddy; two grandchildren, Kaydin Burton, Khalil Cooper; three sisters, Kimberly Rasco, Sonya Pelt, Ametra Harris; two nieces, Kimbrianna Rasco, Deondrea (Quentin) Woods; three nephews, Darvin Ham, Cedric Jeffrey, Armonti Schrank; ten aunts, Josephine Pelt, Saginaw, Michigan, Jacqueline (Luther) Floyd, Woodruff, South Carolina, Geraldine (Van) Pinkard, Jesup Georgia, Ernestine (Grant) Kimbrough, Brenda Pelt, Dora Pelt, all of Boligee, Alabama, JoAnn Rasco, Saginaw, Michigan, Virginia Shehee, Major Hullaby, Ringgold, Louisiana, Willean McKinley, Kansas City, Kansas; five uncles, Henry (Denise) Pelt, Mobile, Alabama, Cedric (Annie) Pelt, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ephriam (Ollie) Pelt, Eutaw, Alabama, Donell (Antoinette) Pelt, Huntsville, Alabama, Rodney (Robin) Pelt, Petersburg, Virginia; a host of special cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Ronald Gaddy and Enza Smith.
