Stanley Braddock was born December 10, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to George Jr. and Grace Braddock. He was a student in Saginaw Public Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School, “Class of 1973.” The year following his graduation, Stanley enlisted himself in the United States Army, serving three years, 1974-1977. After returning home from the service, he was employed with General Motors Corporation for a short time before becoming self-employed in the construction industry. A jack of all trades, his hands were blessed. He could fix anything and build everything. Stanley was a pianist and a wonderful singer. He was a lifelong member of St. Luke C.M.E. Church where he sang in the Male Chorus. He was also a member of the Whittier Street Block Club. He loved to make people laugh and he had a great sense of humor. Stanley built many things while he was here with us but he is now living in a building not made by hands.
On Monday, July 9, 2018, Stanley transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home. He joined his father, George Braddock, Jr. and brothers, Charles E. and Terry L. Braddock, who preceded him in death.
He leaves to celebrate his life mother, Grace Braddock; daughters, Kila (Howard) Thomas, Shawanna (Reginald) Hicks; grandchildren, Jacolby Howard, Reginald Jr. and Kane Hicks; sisters, Brenda Thomas, Georgette (Dr. Ron) Frierson, Ruby A. Jones, Reverend M. Joyce Braddock; brothers, Norman and Elder Frederick (Sheila) Braddock; sisters-in-love, Sheilda, Mildred, Bregitte Braddock; special aunts, Mary E.
