Stanley Brent

Mr. Stanley Brent passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at HealthSource Saginaw. Age 67 years. He was born on February 18, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Ollie II and Mildred Brent.

Stanley was a resident of Flint, Michigan prior to moving to Saginaw, Michigan in 1971. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School “Class of 1969.” Stanley’s church affiliation was with Spiritual Macedonia Baptist Church. He was employed by General Motors (Saginaw Malleable Iron) and was a member of UAW Local 455. Stanley loved fishing and sports, but most of all, he loved and adored his grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his companion and friend, Patricia Brent; four daughters, Shontail (Micheal) McClellan, Flint, Michigan, Tamekia, Pamela and Julie Brent all of Saginaw, Michigan; two sons, Vincent (Semaja) Brent, Springfield, Ohio, and Terrance Harris, Saginaw, Michigan; mother, Mildred Brent and one sister, Valerie Miller, Flint, Michigan; four brothers, Ollie Brent III, Forest (Ann) Brent, John Brent, all of Flint, Michigan; Lonnie (Willette) Brent, Charlotte, North Carolina; four aunts, Verner Henderson, Bonnie Allen, Mattie L. Works and Cora Melvin; uncle, Tommie L. Allen; mother-in-law, Freddie Mae Harris; four sisters-in-law, Ann Brent, Willette Brent, Sylvia Harris and Sylvia Light; two brothers-in-law, David Harris and Duane Harris; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Micheal Green, Calvin Green, W.J. Townsend; fishing friends, R.D. Nettles, Michael Jacobs, Lonnie, Gregory and Albert Sr. Johnson .

Stanley was preceded in death by Ollie Brent II, grandparents, Mamie Staggers, General Staggers, Pearl Brent and Ollie Brent I; father-in-law, Charlie Harris, Sr.; brother-in-law, Charlie Harris, Jr., sister-in-law, Carolyn J. Harris, and his fishing friend, Bobby Turner; a very special cousin, Gayle Ford.
