Ms. Stephanie Renee Dorsey passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center. Age 51 years. She was born September 9, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to Author and Florence Stakley.
Stephanie relocated to Saginaw, Michigan in 1984 where she resided with the Hall family. She was a devoted member of Bethesda Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Gregory A. Johnson, Sr. She was employed at DEB AFC Inc. for 4- years. Stephanie took her job very serious before retiring in 2014. She was a graduate of Bridgeport Adult Education. Stephanie lived her life to the fullest. She loved her two sons with all her heart and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Stephanie loved horror movies and the Investigation Discovery Channel. You couldnt move her away from the TV when these shows were on. Stephanies wonderful spirit will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Gregory Powell Jr. Chubba of Detroit, Michigan and Perry Hall Jr. Peter of Saginaw, Michigan; five grandchildren, Lil Gregory and Geontay of Detroit, Michigan, Savontay, Amarion and Aperriya of Saginaw, Michigan; her sister and brother, Teresa Griggs and Arthur Stakley both of Detroit, Michigan; a host of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Jaalayah TT Baby many other relatives and friends including her special mom, Marie Hall and special sister, Sue Hall.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Stakley, father, Author Stakley, brother, Kevin Stakley, sister, Marian Thomas and her special father, Reverend Nick Hall Jr.
The family would like to express special thanks to everyone who showed their support by offering prayers, condolences and encouraging words. Specical thanks to Mr. Ivan Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
