Subrina Kay Hardy

Ms. Subrina Kay Hardy, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 64. She was born on August 6, 1959, in Saginaw, to Olin and Bobbie Hardy.

Subrina attended Saginaw Public Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1977. She was a self-employed certified cosmetologist. Subrina was known for interior decorating and fashion design. Ms. Hardy attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses; she held a long-time affiliation and was faithful in serving. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was music; some of her favorite artists include the OJays, Temptations, and Isley Brothers, to name a few. Most of all, she loved music by her sons, Dion and Darrell. Ms. Hardy will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, three sons, Dion and Darrell Hardy, and DeWayne Whittington; her mother, Bobbie Sue Hardy; eight grandchildren, Jerry Lee Granderson, Jahiem Hamilton, D’Angela Hardy, Dion Damar Hardy, Dionquavis Sharles Hardy, Da’Mya Dionna Hardy, Di’Onis Hardy, Dion’tray Hardy; five great-grandchildren, Amarion Damar Hayes-Hardy, Bentley Ahmar Terry-Hardy, LeiLani Hamilton, Ci’Marion Granderson, and J3 Granderson; her brothers, Stephen (Linda) Hardy and Jason Moore; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; goddaughters, Shelby White and Charice Manley; special friend, Evangeline “Van” Weems.

Ms. Hardy was preceded in death by her father, Olin Hardy, Sr; four brothers, Charles Crittendon, Olin Jr., Winston A. and Edwin E. Hardy; one sister, Carol Rodgers.
