Suzette Mcelrath (Lansing)

Ms. Suzette Marie McElrath transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 61 years. She was born on Wednesday, June 14, 1961, the daughter of Calvin Randolph, Sr. and Mary Innelle Randolph in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

Suzette was a high school graduate of Benton Harbor High School and attended Davenport University. She resided in Lansing, Michigan and worked at Hope Network for over 23 years. Suzette was a minister at Church Without Walls under the leadership of Pastor Patricia Hart. She was a lover of the Lord, a faithful prayer warrior, a substituted mother to many, and dedicated to her career. Suzette was outgoing, fun loving, friendly, giving, a people person, loved to sing, enjoyed listening to gospel music, she enjoyed collecting candles, coloring, word searches, shopping especially QVC, cooking, faithfully watched Hallmark Channel, and finally, was a wonderful and loving supporter of her family.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her sons, Antwon (Amy) Randolph and Donyel Randolph; 5 grandchildren, Caleb Tuttle, Sarae Randolph, Dequan Randolph, Athena Randolph, and Gretchen Randolph; 2 brothers, Calvin Randolph, Jr. and Joseph (Lucille) Randolph; 8 nieces, Yomica Richardson, Monica “Peaches” Hayes, Carmela Jones, Tiasha Nixon, Tishera Randolph, Calvana Randolph and Sheila Burton; 5 nephews, Joseph White, Marquette “QT” Hayes, Dontai Randolph, Darric Randolph, and Calvin Randolph; brother-in-law, Marcus Hayes; many cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Glasscoe; grandson, Michael Randolph; parents, Calvin Randolph, Sr. and Mary Randolph; and sister, Flora Hayes.
