Taijion "Woncha" Gant (Lansing)

Mr. Taijion Davon Gant, “Woncha”, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 17 years. He was born on December 31, 2001, in Lansing, Michigan to Gayla Williams Brown and Carlton Gant Jr.

Taijion was a student at Okemos High School as well as a member of the Track and Field Team. He loved basketball and football, both of which he was great at.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His mother, Gayla Brown; stepfather, Thomas Brown; Siblings, A’Darius Beard, De’Aaron Williams, Antonio Earvin, Seqouia Brown, Carlton Gant III, Alaysia Brown, Tae’jon Brown, Jayana Brown and Rashaun Gant; grandparents: Deborah (Lonnie) Wright, James Williams III, Gloria Pearl Jones and Thomas (Janice) Brown; great-grandparents, Ruth Hester, Brooks and Rosia Williams and Binna Gant; aunts: Jarisia (Maurice) Latham, Nicole (Alfuance) Wiseman, Jamie Thomas, Faith Givens, Jerrica Williams, Jasmine Williams, Delila (Anthony)Brown-Bridges and Carla Gant; uncles: Bruce (Evette) Gant, Larry Gant, James Williams IV, Tyrice (Ciara) Brown, Jamison Givens, Joshua Williams and Justin Williams; nieces, Michayla Dillard-Williams and Chloe’ Lewis; nephews, Ayden Beard and De’Aaron Williams Jr. ; many other family and friends...too many to name but we LOVE ALL OF Y’ALL!!!

He was preceded in death by his father, Carlton Gant Jr.; grandfather, Carlton Gant Sr. and grandmother, Roxi Anne Wheeler.
