Ms. Tamara Chanel Alexander, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and companion, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Age 46 years. She was born December 21, 1973 in Saginaw, Michigan to Leon Hunter and Carol Ann Williams.
Tamara was a faithful employee at Tendercare and Avista Nursing Homes. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and being the life of the party. She will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
On June 13, 2020, Tamara was reunited with her mother, Carol Ann Williams, who preceded her in death.
She leaves precious memories with her daughter, Tiera Peebles; sons, Deondre Alexander, Darque Barnett; stepdaughter, Chasity Peebles; significant other, Terry Peebles; grandchildren, Kamryn, Deondre Jr., Xavier Alexander, Rae’Lynn Peebles, Jay’ceon Terry, Autumn Smith; father, Leon Hunter; stepfather, Charles Williams; brother, Keith Hunter; grandparents, James and Mary Alexander; cousin, Elijah Noble, Jr.; many other relatives and friends, including special friends Shalawn McGee, Karla Brooks, Marshawn McNair and Donald Stuckey.
