Ta’ Marea Shenille Steward was born February 21, 1995, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.
Ta’Marea enjoyed vacationing, spending time with family and friends, and shopping, with shoes being her soft spot. She was adored by many, had many friends, and was known for her loyalty and trustworthiness. Her smile always warmed a room, and her laughter was infectious. Ta’Marea had many nicknames like “Mary, Yae,” and even while playing basketball she was referred to as “Microwave” because on the court she “heated things up!” Ta’Marea was a graduate of Saginaw High School Class of 2013 and went on to pursue an associate degree from the University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Health Administration. She was 9 classes away from completion of requirements to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Ta’Marea aspired to be an entrepreneur, creating a fashion line, and designing her first shirt in memory of both her late brother TJ, and cousin Ne Ne. Ta’ Marea was a member of Daniel’s Den Ministries since 2008 where she enjoyed praise, worship, and fellowship.
