Tameaka Jeanette Brown

Tameaka J. Brown was born June 3, 1977 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the daughter of James and Maryrine Brown. Our beloved daughter, sister and auntie ascended to heaven on December 21, 2020.

Tameaka accepted Christ at an early age at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Mira, Louisiana. She later moved to Saginaw, Michigan and was a graduate of Saginaw High School and an employee at Golden Corral Restaurant. Tameaka was loved and cherished and will truly be missed.

Tameaka was preceded in death by her mother, Maryrine Brown; grandparents, Velma Fisher Sr. and Maple Fisher; uncles, Velma Fisher Jr. and Ernest Fisher; aunts, Joyce Dixon, Helen Dixon, and Betty Fisher; cousin, James Carter and special cousin, Barnell Amos.

Tameaka is survived by her father, James Brown; two sisters, Glovestine Brown, Frisco, Texas, Holly Fisher, Shreveport, Louisiana; one brother, Brian Fisher, Saginaw, Michigan; nieces, Taquisha Irvin, Cynthia Mayes, Bria Fisher, Britashia Fisher; great-niece, Shania Hayes; nephews, Marquay Brown, Dre’mont Hayes; three great-nephews, Marquay Brown Jr., Malachi Brown, and Princeton Fisher; aunts, Essie Carter, Buelah Caldwell, Clara Fisher; uncles, John B. Fisher, Charles Brown and Herbert Brown; cousins, Debra, Kelly, Rodicea, Jeffrey Carter, all of Michigan, Michigan Sally, Ray, Tyrone, Jean, Kelly, Lena, Tasha, Domonique, Comeka, John B.
