Ms. Tameria Marie Gaines passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Tameria was born January 6, 1963, in Saginaw, Michigan to Leselie and Rose McDonald.
Ms. Tameria was strong in her Catholic faith. She went to college, became a certified therapist, and had a long fulfilling career in home healthcare. Tameria loved bicycling, canoeing, hiking, reading, and writing. She also enjoyed sitting in the park and watching nature, watching good movies, and having conversations with family and friends.
Ms. Tameria (affectionally known as Tammy) was always there to listen to family, friends, and strangers. If someone needed help, she would find a way to help, no matter how hard things were for her. Tammy would give a person the shirt off her back and the last dollar in her pocket. Tammy never expected anything in return because she knew her reward would come from heaven.
Ms. Tammy leaves to cherish her memory, one brother, Mark McDonald; many nieces, and nephews; one aunt, Marie Beasley; one uncle, Al Beasley, and many other relatives and friends, including a special friend for over forty years, Ann Smith.
Tammy was preceded in death by her daughter Franseca Gaines, mother Rose McDonald, grandmother Edna Marie Beasly, brothers Rodney Parks, Les McDonald, and Brian McDonald, aunt Barb, uncle Nate, and niece Renee Boykins.
The family would like to express special thanks for all the prayers and support, and to all who donated to make this time easier.
