Tammy S. Wallace (Lansing)

Ms. Tammy Shunnet Wallace was born on May 28, 1971, to the late Joetta (Wallace) Bowers and Hurkey Paul in Lansing, Michigan. At an early age, Tammy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Tammy was educated in the Broward County Public School System and graduated from the Miramar High School in 1989. Upon graduating from high school, Tammy gained employment as a Health Unit Coordinator. Tammy later moved back to Michigan where she graduated from the Michigan Correctional Officers Vocational program in 1995.

Tammy was a loving, kind, devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She was very caring and giving; she loved her family dearly. She loved to talk on the phone to family and friends. Tammy had an infectious laugh that was guaranteed to brighten your day.

Cherishing her loving memory an her legacy of love are her two daughters, Kansas Strachan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Melissa Wallace of Lansing, Michigan; loving brother, Otis Bowers (Delise) of Lansing, Michigan; many other brothers and sisters in numerous states; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. 

She will be missed but not forgotten.
