Ms. Tara Patrice Ingram passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center. Age 45 years. She was born on June 30, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan to Lee A. Owens, Sr. and Lemartis Matthews.


Tara was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1989. She was a former member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Johnny Goodman. Tara enjoyed playing cards and watching sports. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews.


She leaves to cherish her loving memory seven sisters, Leslie Ingram, Helen Price and Toinette Ingram, Gwen Miree and Tonia Bernard all of Saginaw, Michigan, Melinda Owens-James and Anthonette Owens of Memphis, Tennessee; six brothers, Charles, Alonzo, Alfred and Ed Ingram, Cornelius and Lee Owens, Jr.; many nieces, great-nieces and great-great-nieces and nephews; special nieces, Marquitta, Laquitta and Keisha Ingram and Angel Williams; special nephew, Charles Ingram, Jr.; aunts, Maxcine Caver, Mary Alice (Melvin) Pitts of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Cecelia (Curtis) Mayfield, Linda (Robert) Wright of Omaha, Nebraska; uncles, Benny (Pam) Boose, Robert (Becky) Boose, Sammy Boose all of Omaha, Nebraska, James (Arlene) Boose , Saginaw, Michigan; special cousins, Vanita, Rachel, Marcie and Tangela; god-sister, Tiana Watson; godchildren, Shaneva Cooper and Jovon Curry.


Tara was preceded in death by her parents, Lemartis Matthews, Lee A. Owens, Sr. and King David Hawkins; brothers, Mark Blacksher and Eugene Ingram; grandparents, Lillian Long, Mary Boose, Cornelius Owens and Leroy Matthews; aunts, Alphalee Moore, Hattie Agnew, Ellaree Westbrook and Kobbie Morgan; special aunt, Minnie Cooper; uncles, J.B. and Henry Boose,; nephews, Deleonce Pooh Bear Williams, Jr., Desire Ingram and Azaan Ingram.

The family would like to express special thanks to St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center and Pastor Bertha Goodman and the Lighthouse of Glory Baptist Church family.
