Terence D Cotton (Lansing)

Terence Delano Cotton passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his home in Lansing, Michigan. Age 34 years. He was born January 16, 1984 to Tamethia Hicks in Battle Creek, Michigan. When Terence was five years old, his mother married Joseph Hicks, and from this union, Joseph became his father.

Terence was baptized at an early age and loved the Lord. His favorite Bible scripture was the 23rd Psalm. Terence was an amazing father to his children, Terence, Jr. and Jayda. He always put them first in his life by spending quality time with them. He was a dedicated employee for Neogen Corporation over several years. Terence was an avid boxing fan and loved watching the fights with his kids, father Joe, and brother JoJo. He was a true warrior and will be missed by his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Terence Cotton, Jr and Jayda Benson; parents, Joseph Hicks and Tamethia Hicks; grandmothers, Cheryl (John) Artis, Elaine Hill, Barbara Hicks; sister, Mariah Hicks; brother, Joseph Hicks, Jr; nephews, Deric Martin, Romeo Lewis, and many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Maris Duvall and Ashley Sutton.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Yancy Bradford, Jr. and Jonas Hicks.
