Mr. Terrance Dallas Gentry departed this early life on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the age of 40 years. He was born on May 17, 1984, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Marcheeto Lavender and Terrance Gentry.
Terrance was a resident of Pontiac, Michigan. He graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 2002. Terrance was employed by Continental Catering. He enjoyed coaching, family movie time, cooking, going to concerts with his sister, CoCo, and he loved shopping for shoes. Terrance was an everyday comedian; his laughter would light up a room. He loved his children dearly, and easily bonded with all children he came in contact with. Family and friends will greatly miss Terrance.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted companion of almost twenty years, Ashlie Beckman of Pontiac, Michigan; one daughter and two sons, Terrance Gentry, Jr., Makinna Beckman, and Tamarii Gentry; he leaves a loving grandmother, Annie Snow Lavender; five aunts, Brenda Jackson, Jackie Lavender, Genobia Flunder, LaDonna Grays, Pam Grays, and Nekeia Hopkins; three uncles, Tommy Jackson, Maurice Grays, Alvin Gentry, and James Foster; Terrance also leaves many cousins and friends too numerous to list.
Terrance was preceded in death by his mother, Marcheeto Lavender; father, Terrance Gentry, grandfather, E.B. Lavender; grandmother, Emma Grays, and grandfather, G.W. Grays.
