A beloved brother, father and grandfather, Terrance “Terry” Gentry, peacefully made his transition on July 3, 2019 at the age of 58. He was born July 11, 1960 in Watson, Arkansas.
Terry moved to Saginaw as a young child where he attended school and graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1978. After graduation, he joined the U.S Marine Corp where he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Twentynine Palms, California. Terry returned to Saginaw and worked for the US Postal Service after completing his term in the Marines. He truly enjoyed watching basketball and football, BBQing and was an avid chess player.
Terry loved his family and was loved by many. He leave to cherish his memory one son, Terrance Gentry; three grandchildren, Terrance Jr., Tamarii, and Makinna; two brothers, Alvin (Carolyn) Gentry, Maurice Grays; three sisters, Genobia Flunder, LaDonna and Pamela Grays; two uncles, Clinton (Verda) Gentry and Thomas (Cynthia) Gentry; four aunts, Annie B. Banks, Travestine Butler, Clintontine (Robert) Fitz, and Evonne Gentry; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Jean and G.W. Grays.
