Terry Lee Williams

Mr. Terry Lee Williams passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence in Kentwood, Michigan. Age 65 years. He was born with his twin brother, Tyrone Williams, on May 14, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to Orletha and Willie Williams.

Terry was a resident of Kentwood, Michigan. He was raised in Saginaw, Michigan where he received his early childhood education. Terry was a graduate of Saginaw High School, “Class of 1973.” He was self-employed in construction as a builder, was very skilled with his hands, and loved to work on repairing houses for others. He was the owner of a karate school for many years. Terry lived life as a “true man;” he was very kind to everyone and was well-respected. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandbaby and companion of more than 30 years, Sharon Battles. Loved by many, hated by none, Terry was an all-around loving person who demonstrated respect for everyone. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him and could not possibly every be forgotten.

He leaves to cherish loving memories three daughters, Marshawn McNair (Eric) George, Latoria Thompson (Anthony Kerr), Reather (Mel) Lloyd; four stepchildren, Tiffany, Brandon, Nadia, Janai; grandchildren, Antonio (Raven), De’Quaivis, Sharionna, Johnice and Elijah McNair, Anthony Green, Jr., David Monroe, Damian West, Jr., DeOndre James, DaCorion Wilson, DoMariye Lloyd, MelAizha Lloyd, Demond, Amonte, Treon, Fat Buddy and Ginnicye Battles, Carmani, Elijah and De’Air; 35 great-grandchildren; siblings, Campanella (Wade) Johnson, Naomi Hollis, London Williams, and Terry’s twin, Tyrone Williams; many other relatives and friends including special friends Samuel Williams, Earnest Reed and Anthony Williams.

Terry was preceded in death by siblings, Frank Banyon, Wilma Lee, Willitte Staffney, Edgar Williams, Pauline Smart, Deborah Verasammy.
