Mr. Terry T. McGhee began his journey in life on March 2, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Dorothy Henderson and Check McGhee. He joined his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the age of 57 years.
Terry loved going to church and was a faithful member of Victorious Believers Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Christopher Pryor. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed vintage cars. Terry loved to barbeque and enjoyed spending time with his family. Gone but never forgotten, his presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Gloria J. McGhee; two daughters and one son, Kenyatta and Tamika McGhee and Terrance Holmes, all of Florida; two stepchildren, Stacy Staffney and Donovan Hughes, both of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Lakiya and Lazaria Fisher, Jasmine Holmes and Terrance Holmes Jr.; his father, Check (Vera) McGhee; godmothers, Dorothy Williams of Florida and Nancy Sanders of Atlanta, Georgia; one stepsister, Kim Anderson; one brother, Jerry McGhee; one stepbrother, Kevin Anderson; four aunts, May Cotton, Margaret Phillips, Bobbie (Willie) Haynes and Emma Henderson of Cleveland, Ohio; five uncles, Tom (Krystal) Phillips, Harry Phillips, Alvin, Donald and Cline Henderson; mother-in-law, Jackie Brooks; three sisters-in-law, Dale (Charles) Mitchner, Joyce Brooks and Margo (Willie) Hampton; two brothers-in-law, Dennis Brooks and Belvin (Cynthia) Brooks; many other relatives and friends including his best friend, Albert Minnis of Homestead, Florida.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Henderson-McGhee and father-in-law, Joe Brooks.
