Our beloved brother, uncle and friend, Terry Riley, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at age 58 years. He was born March 6, 1961 to Willie and Catherine Riley in Saginaw, Michigan.
Terry worked at Waste Management for a short time. He moved to Ohio and resided there for five years before returning home to Saginaw, Michigan.
Terry loved country music and wrestling. He was always in the company of his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly and treated like his own children. He was a wonderful brother, protector and friend who will truly be missed.
Terry was preceded in death by his daughter, Ruby Dent; parents, Catherine and Willie Riley; grandparents; brothers, Ricky and Rivas Riley; and nephew, Tawuan Moses.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sisters, Orris Riley Jackson, Debra (Lester) Weston, Pamela Vaughn, Mary Harris, all of Saginaw, Michigan; three brothers, Charles (Jackie) Riley, Mark Riley, Carron Riley, all of Saginaw, Michigan; aunt, Gladys Henry; sister-in-law, Terry Shaw; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Pete Swilley and Calvin White.
The family would like to express special thanks to VNA Hospice, Terry’s doctors, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
