Terry Wilburn

Mr. Terry Wilburn departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the age of 56 years. He was born September 14, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Buriel and Earnestine Wilburn.
Terry was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1977 graduate of Carrollton High School. After graduation he enlisted with the United States Navy and after 12 years of dedicated service, he received an honorable discharge. On September 13, 2002 Terry married his long-time sweetheart, Genevieve Garcia. Terry adored his loving wife. She survives him. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Terry worked until his health failed him. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Terry enjoyed playing dominos with his twin brother Jerry and cousin Palace. An avid nature lover, you would often find him feeding birds, squirrels, fishing and gardening. Terry also enjoyed grilling, reading his bible and listening to music in his man cave. Gone but never forgotten, his presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Genevieve Wilburn; his children, Earnestine Wilburn, Jerry and Rocquell Earl; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, Kayden Bryce whom he gave the nickname Scooter five sisters, Katherine, Dorothy, Victoria and Trundrina Wilburn, Myrtle Pittman; three brothers including his twin, Jerry (Annie Pearl), Perry and Donald Wilburn; one sister-in-law, Dorinda (David) Warren; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Dexter DeOntay Wilburn; several cousins including special cousins, Denise Wilburn and Phillip Whitney; two sisters-in-law, Caroline (Ricardo) and Lydia (Joe) Garcia; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Melanie Dorst.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Buriel K. and Earnestine Wilburn, mother and father-in-law, Paz and Lupe Garcia, one aunt, Victoria Smith.
