Theresa Owens

Theresa Owens was born January 20, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Jack Johnson and Mary Williams. She liked to bowl and play bingo. She worked for Saginaw Public Schools and her hobbies included cooking and listening to the blues.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Johnson; Willie Ross Jr., Lee Owens Sr., Willie Ross Sr., Martha Young, Johnny Williams, Jim Williams, Lillie Williams, Willie B. Sturdvant.

Theresa leaves to cherish her memory five sons, Anthony Johnson, Andre (Tameeka) Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Lee Jr. (Kashanda) Owens, Cornelius (Martinique) Owens; twenty-seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Charlie Williams; special nieces, Gwen and Glenda Williams; special cousins, Willie James Swilley, Sandra Williams Parker, Shelly Williams and Dorothy Lee; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including her dear friends Ellis Williams, Michael Chester, Levon Bailey and Jackie Pought.

The family would like to express special thanks to Heartland Hospice, Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, Select Staffing of Covenant Hospital, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
