Thomas Blackmon (Lansing)

Mr. Thomas Japriece Blackmon, Sr. at the young age of 35 years old was called home on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan, He is the son of Ms. Andrea Oliver and Mr. Edward Blackmon, Sr. born Monday, February 6, 1989, in Lansing, Michigan.

Thomas was known by “Tommie Boy” or “Trouble” as many of us know him by, attended high school at Rivera Beach High School in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was a proud member of Tabernacle Original Church of God in Lansing, Michigan.

Thomas was the life of the party and could command a room as soon as he walked in with his radiant smile and constant jokes. Tommie was loved by all and will truly be missed by his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Caiden Japriece Pennyman, Thomas Japriece Blackmon, Jr. and Prince Japriece Blackmon; daughters, Morgan Jones and Alivia Andrea Blackmon; siblings, Ashley L. Oliver, Edward (Megan) Blackmon, Jr., Tamara Young, Weston McDaniels, Tierra Manuel, Erica Blackmon, Betina St. Louis, Lineca St. Louis, and Juliano Jean; stepfather, Luciane St. Louis; very special great aunts, Minister Dorothy “Faye” Morrell and Theresa Oliver; great uncle, Eddie (Betty) Oliver; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives including the mothers of his children, Janel Blocker and D’Ashia Doss; and friends including special friend, Shamoria Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents.
