Mr. Thomas Jones passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 48 years. He was born March 7, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, Judy Kay Orta-Craven and Charles Martin Jones, Sr.

Tom has been a resident of Lansing, Michigan for 32 years. He worked in construction and roofing. Tom was loved by many for his endearing character. He would light up a room with his laughter. Music and singing were two things that he loved to do. Tom had a great love for his family and especially enjoyed being with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Mercedez Jones, Onistee Artis and Deonte Nick; grandchildren, Legacy Hamilton, King Brown and Syrenity Artis; parents, Judy Kay Orta-Craven and Charles Martin Jones, Sr.; brothers, Charles Martin Jones, Jr., David Armstrong Jones and Scott Corbett Jones, Sr.; nieces, Curie Jones and Sklar Jones; nephews, Iasaac Jones and Scott Jones, Jr.; cousins, Tammy Singletary, Douglas Craven, David Craven and Amanda Craven; sisters-in-law, Hope Jones and Resha Reneau-Jones; many other relatives and friends including long time partner, Dawn Maxwell; special friend, Princess Nick; best friend, Cisco Burrorah and special brother, Steve Maxwell.
