Mr. Thomas Noel McCray, Jr. "Capt'n" passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 21 years. Thomas was born August 1, 2002, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Ebony Sharika Davis and Thomas McCray, Sr.

Thomas, a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, was baptized at the early age of 7 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Saginaw Public Schools and was employed at Hemlock Semiconductor. Thomas enjoyed rapping and dancing, but most of all, he enjoyed bonding time with his daughter, and being around the family. He was an outstanding father, very goofy, and loving, making sure he said “love you!” Thomas would greet you with a big smile and a hug. His voice sounded as though he was using a megaphone when he spoke; he could be heard a mile away. Thomas was loved and will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Ti’Kyleigh Delores Imara McCray; parents, Ebony Sharika Davis and Thomas McCray, Sr.; grandparents, Ardella Davis, Tangela (George) Hunt, Joyce Wooden, and Jackie Renfro; four sisters, Neonnah McCray, Joh’Nesha Williams, Na’Zir Taylor, and Camari Hunt; three brothers, Nah’shon Crompton, Caron Cole, and Cameron Hunt Jr.; one nephew, Nah’Kaveeon McCray; five aunts, Roxie Davis, Quinyon Hunt, Anjanelle Wooden, Ericka Thomas, and Jackie Rodriquez; uncles, Meritt McCray, Benjamin (Wanda Faye) Harris, and Raymond (Willie) Harris; cousins, Sharnae Griffin, Delleon (Jenay) Davis, Anthony (Shnecia) Harris, Deontae, Johnnie Porter, Jr., Alicia, Terrance Harris, Shontanece Donald, Taemon McCray, Alaya Cook, Journee Howell, Ja’Niya Davis, De’Andre Davis, Ma’Khari Hunt, Diamond Harris, Benjamin Donaldson, and Raymond Harris; godparents, Cameron (Mercedes) Hunt; godchildren, Kentrell Omar and Jayceon Thomas; many other relatives, special cousins and friends including Malik Nash, Detreck Pipkins, DeErick Pipkins, Alkaree Franklin, Jamarey Handley, Lamond Abraham, Shaaliyah Kpadeh, and Harriet Campbell.

Thomas was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Benjamin Sr. and Roberta Harris, George and Joyce McCray; baby sister, Nikyleigh Davis; cousins, La’Renz Cook, Demore and Lynn Harris; aunts, Barbara and Delores Harris.
