Timothy Osborne (Lansing)

Timothy Osborne passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 69 years. He was born to the late Christeen Henley Haynes and Charmust Johnson in Wesson, Mississippi on April 29, 1948.

Timothy was a quiet man who kept to himself. He worked at General Motors and retired from there after 36 faithful years of service. Timothy was a lottery player and one of his favorite places to play his lottery numbers was at Mario’s. He enjoyed sports and music. A couple of his favorite teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Pistons. He never missed a televised game of the Pistons. Timothy was also a lover of music. His musical interested ranged from Blues to smooth jazz.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dorothy Bernice Osborne; children, Shunita Faith Osborne and Kendra Lynn Osborne; 9 sisters, Staree Porter, Birmingham, Alabama, Annie Lois Knight, Dorothy Jean (Joe) Young, Shirley Knox and Florine (Royal) Dixon all of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Delphine (Tom) Haynes-Brown, Antioch, California, Mildred Brown, California, Maxine (Oscar) Washington and Coriena Haynes; 2 brothers, Charlie Haynes, Jr., Moreno Valley, California and James Haines, Brookhaven, Mississippi; many uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Christeen Henley Haynes and Charmust Johnson; and his grandmother, Allie Mae Bryant-Henley.
