Todd Petersen

Todd Petersen passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his residence. Age 42 years. He was born August 17, 1970 in Montcalm County to Elias and Gloria Petersen.
Todd grew up in Coral, Michigan and attended Lakeview High School. He loved sports especially baseball. His favorite teams were the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees, a love he shared with his father. Todd loved his family and was very well loved by many. He was often called Uncle Todd or Papa by his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Amy Petersen; two daughters, Brandi Modrall, Kayley Duel; one son, Nicholas Duel; two grandchildren, Kayden Duel, Micah Morrison; his mother, Gloria Petersen; one sister, Elisa Crawfis; twelve nieces, Lindsey Crawfis, Sernia, Brianna and Savannah Duel, Dajah Montgomery, Nevaeh Keating, Rylee and Shelbi Hardenburgh, Addison Vanblaricum, Cassie Corl, Sydney Fredrick, Laurita Billings; ten nephews, Haven Keating, Jovion and Cortney Montgomery Jr., Zack Hardenburg, Zack Vanblaricum, Michael Crawfis, Robert Billings, Drake Brickner, Dylan and Sam Duel, Jake Corl; seven aunts, Mary Bronkema, Diane Petersen , Dacola Noatt, Lavina Petersen, Helen Petersen, Julia Foote, Virginia Ferman; six uncles, Carl Bronkema, Chuck Petersen, Jim Petersen, Pete Petersen, Lee Firnman, Orvin Foote; eleven cousins, David, Lee and Greg Bronkema, Gwen Noah, Corey, Shad, Chuck and Mark Petersen, Robert, Matt and Matthew Noah; mother and father-in-law, Joyce and David Duel; seven sisters-in-law, Mary, Joanne, Shannon and Nichole Duel, Melanie Parkins, Tanya Visnaw, Stephine Preston; six brothers-in-law, Cortney Montgomery Sr., James Sanders, James Vanblaricum, Jason Androne, David Duel, John Roberts; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Laura and Gary Hardenburgh, Tamra Keating, Dave Rowland, Katrina and Blake McDonagh, Kaye Brickner, Mary Smith, Jim and Fred Carne. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Elias Petersen, grandparents, Bonnie and Ralph Conley, Sarah and Grover Petersen.
