Ms. Tonya Goodson passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 59 years. She was born April 4, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan to John and Beverly Goodson.
Tonya grew up in Detroit, Michigan and was a graduate of Murray-Wright High School, Class of 1980. She was employed with Daimler Chrysler in 1998, starting her career in the automotive industry. Tonya loved to dance, travel, and make everyone around her happy. She had a big heart and helped everyone, accepting them as family. Tonya will be missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.
Tonya leaves to cherish her memory three children, K’Anna Davis-Goodson, Montgomery McCants-Goodson, and Jeremy (Danielle) Davis; grandchildren, Mariah Goodson, Jayla, and Mya Davis, all of Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Celeste Goodson; one brother, John Goodson; one niece, Kimyatta Goodson; one nephew, Christopher Goodson; many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Tonya was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beverly Goodson; sister, Cheryl Goodson; and brother, Marc Goodson.
