Toryon T. Patterson

His Story

Toryon Trayvon Patterson was born on October 5, 1998, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Shirley Patterson. He was raised by a loving village that included his Aunt Latonsha Patterson, his late Uncle Lester "Earl" West, his Aunt Stephanie Riley, and his sister, Kentera Patterson. At the young age of 26 years, Toryon entered eternal rest on Friday, November 1, 2024, at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City, Michigan, with his loving family at his side. 

Toryon was a hardworking man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was cherished and adored by many,  known for his funny, loving spirit that will always be remembered and treasured. Toryon enjoyed listening to music, dressing well, spending time with family and friends, and being a devoted father to his son.

He leaves behind his son, Toryon "Tjay" Patterson Jr; his mother, Shirley (Duane) Patterson-Jackson, of Saginaw, Michigan; his grandmother, Edna West-Patterson of Robinsonville, Mississippi; six siblings: Kentrali Patterson, Kentera Patterson, and Donte Houston, all of Saginaw, Michigan, as well as Tomeisha (Dre' Vion) Roberson of Dallas, Texas, Mercedes Houston and Angela "Gi Gi" Patterson, also of Saginaw, Michigan. Toryon was a proud uncle to his beloved nephews and nieces who will carry on his legacy and memory. He is also survived by several bonus siblings, cousins, and friends.

Toryon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jessie Patterson, Aunt Angela L. Patterson, and Uncle Lester "Earl" West.
