Tracy Lynn Sweet was called home on May 14, 2018. Tracy was born July 1, 1963 in Lansing, MI to Frances Vaughn and Robert Allen Sweet Sr. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and smiling. Being sure to always let everyone know that everything would be alright. Just as her last name, she truly was a “sweetie”.
She was preceded in death by her mother Frances Vaughn, husband Leon Oliver, brother Robert “Bobby” Sweet Jr. and daughter Olivia Monay Evans.
She is survived by her children Phillup, Jonathan and Lamar Hicks; step-children Leon and Kabena Venegas, Christopher Moore, Jumaine Cline, Charisse Hicks and Raquel Rosales; brother Michael Sweet; Aunt Patricia Sebastian-Butts; special sisters Janice “Jan” Pinder and Penny Butler Wortham; mother-in-law Mary Knox-Sturdivant; Phillup Hicks Sr. and a host of beloved grandchildren, in-laws and nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
