Mr. Travis T. Swift Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 40 years. Travis was born April 13, 1983, in Saginaw, Michigan to Charlie M. Swift Sr. and Cora Lee Swift.
Travis a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, previously resided in Louisiana and Georgia. He was a kind-hearted man, a devoted father, brother, and best friend to many. Travis enjoyed music, rapping, and dancing. He settled back home in Michigan due to his health, but you never would have known he was down. He loved cutting hair, cooking, and giving a helping hand to those he loved. Travis was charismatic, outgoing, affectionate, and definitely a comedian. He had the “Wordplay of a doctor.” He loved the Lord who declared his time on Earth was done.
Travis leaves to cherish his memory one son Travis T. Swift Jr., grandmother, Judy Henderson; two sisters, Tecia A. Turner, and Juliet C. Swift; eight nieces, Taniya and Teavna Hayes, De’Anecia Parker, Kalecia Lowery, Mahkayla Turner; great-nieces, Sa’Nai and Serenity Parker, and Xaria Wills; eight nephews, Deon Watson Jr., Claude and Cardeay Wills, Camron Swift, Michael, Mahki, and Mahlik Turner, and Camron Parker; three aunts, Betty Mays, Mary Swift, and Cora Jackson; five uncles, RT Hays, Richard Hayes, Andy Swift, Donald Henderson, and Eddie Jackson; a host of cousins; three sisters-in-law, Marian, Krishawnda, and Brittany; two brothers-in-law, Michael Turner and Marcus Turner; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Marcus Hayes, Nintasha Hayes, and Ben Coleman; special friends of 30 plus years, Donald Tolbert and Terrill Archbald, and godfather Lovell Williams.
Travis was preceded in death by his son, Tavarion Swift; parents, Charlie Sr. and Cora Swift; brother Charlie Hayes Jr.; grandparents, Reat T. and Bessie Hayes, Charlie Swift Sr.; aunts, Gwendolyn Coleman, Sarah L. Hayes; and uncle, Stephen Hayes.
