Treasa Marie Torrez

Treasa Torrez was born December 3, 1966 in Kane, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond Torrez and Beverly Strong. She took her rest on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the age of 53 years.

Treasa was a CNA at Saginaw Geriatrics and a member of New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sitting outside with her dogs. She was the life of any party and boy did she love to party! Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and grandkids in her spare time.

Treasa loved to watch movies and gamble. She spent quality time with her special friend Robert Galvin, playing dominoes and cards. She was a kindhearted person that loved everyone. She would give the shirt off her back which is why everyone loved and adored her.

Treasa was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Torrez; grandmother, Ardith Sanford; special friends, Pamela Johnson, Eddie Ray Harry “Coyote”.

Treasa leaves to cherish her memory three children, Breia Thomas, Malcolm Thomas and Wayne Ballard; stepson, Quantaine Mitchell; mother, Beverly Strong; grandchildren, Sahaven Moore, Summer Reign Moore, Camilla, Mahlila, Alexis, Alaylah, Calina, Milana, Jarrod Keasey, Matthew Alford; godchildren, Mahogany Hudson, Curtrice Jones; brothers, Raymond and Jaun Torrez; nieces, Kati Torrez, Brittany Emcott, Mikko; nephews, Juan, Raymond, Coty and Michael Torrez; aunt Marylou Leyvay; father-in-law, Bobbie Strong; daughters-in-law, Corina (Jo), Michelle; sisters-in-law, Kathy Kelly, Marie Torrez. Many cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends Robert Galvin, Michelle Stewart, Paula Davis, Michelle Blackstone, Marie Torrez and Pamela Johnson.
