Mr. Troy Thomas Lewis passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Center. Age 68 years. He was born on February 14, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to Richard Sr. and Lenora Lewis.
Troy attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1968. His hobbies were fishing and bike riding, but most of all, Troy loved to be with his family and friends, eating and telling jokes during the famous Lewis Bar-B-Que outings. Troy was a quiet and reserved individual with an infectious smile. He will be missed by family and friends who love him dearly.
Troy leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Mrs. Betty (George) Harris, Saginaw, Michigan; cousins, Earl (Diane) Burns, Saginaw, Michigan; nieces, Audonnia (Fredrick) Hawkins, Byron Center, Michigan, Latonya Lewis and Marlo (Andrew) Cooperwood, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Anita Folks, Chicago, Illinois; five nephews, Michael Harris of Kentucky, Mark Harris, Detroit, Michigan, Lamar Folks, Chicago, Illinois, Lloyd, Jarvis and Quincy Demery, all of Saginaw, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Joyce Lewis, Saginaw, Michigan; many other relatives and dear friends.
Troy was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lewis, Sr., mother, Lenora Lewis; one sister, Shirley Demery; four brothers, Robert Folks, Richard Lewis, Jr., Norris Lewis and Roy Lewis.
